Burke Roberts
Zach

BURKE ROBERTS, a fiercely indepent actor who stays with roles and stories he feels have artistic integrity and turns down many others, took the layered part of Zach.  It's a tribute to both Burke's commitment to art and his confidence that his own talent that he sticks to his guns.  Burke is also a filmmaker in his own right, writing and directing experimental films like "Handicap City" and "Jesus Rides Shotgun".

Burke's confidence in his own ability is not misplaced.  He's a very talented actor with the same raw connection to visceral acting energy and creativity that the early Nicholson, DeNiro, and Penn had.  There is something dark, unnerving, and authentic about Burke's performances.  Keep your eye on this up and comer, it's just a matter of time till Burke is snagging juicy and dark roles in many more major feature films.

In this film, Zach is Joe's easy going best friend who after years of struggling to have the rock band break out has finally given in to a drug addiction.

Burke's other credits include films like: Mockingbird Don't Sing      (starring Sean Young and Kim Darby) and The Invader; and TV appearances as a series regular on Daytrippers (directed by Fran Dresher), and guest spots on: NYPD Blue, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Married with Children, the Nanny, and Picket Fences.
