ERNIE SILVA (role of "Shadowman") is best known for his work as a stand-up comic.  However, in "The Fall of Night" it was that Ernie is a very, very thin guy that attracted casting attention.  Details on the character he models a special effect template for must be kept secret till the film's release.

Of course, it was great to have a comedian on the set to lighten things up, but in the film Ernie is all business and presents a very otherworldly look.
